Pre-dominantly Church controlled Ireland is reflective of South Dakota’s legislature. Church pedophilia in Ireland has finally been revealed through several studies despite the extreme brainwashing ‘Secrecy’ methodology employed by the controlling Church down through time. The scandal has grown to such proportion that the Pope of Rome had to call to Rome his Irish Bishops for some sort of ‘conference’ with no positive results for the thousands of victims, of course, at least those still living. Instead the Church employed similar strategy as what has happened recently in South Dakota. They lobbied Irish legislators to pass a law (similar to South Dakota’s Pedophile Protector Amendement) which places the Church perpetrators beyond real justice and hence monetary damages beyond the reach of the victims. In Ireland the Irish legislators were coerced into passing a huge fine for any language that may be interpreted as vilifying ‘the Holy and Immaculate Church of Ireland.’ For decades the Catholic hierarchy appeared primarily concerned with covering up the crimes of its priests. Such scheming and untruthful cunning is employed by those who claim to be men of God.
Quoting John Shelby Spong, an open minded retired Bishop of the Anglican Church - a good guy among the Christians- my opinion.
“The recently passed law in Ireland against blasphemy, which threatens $35,000 fines
for any person who "publishes or utters matter that is grossly abusive or insulting
in relation to matters held sacred by any religion thereby causing outrage among
a substantial number of the adherents of that religion," is a weird throwback to
the medieval mentality.” The Catholic church, runs 92 percent of the state-owned
primary schools and owns some of the country's biggest hospitals therefore easily
can manipulate legislators.
Brendan Smyth, one of the country's most notorious child-abusing priests was investigated by Cardinal Sean Brady of Ireland, who covered up for him allowing the known pedophile to remain loose among the dioceses not unlike Cardinal Bernard Law of the Boston Diocese who did the same for the notorious pedophile Rev. John Geoghan. Law was whisked away from judicial remedy safely to a post in Rome. Brady refuses to resign his position. If Brady doesn’t resign I would hope that the Irish people finally wake up and simply quit going to such a church as I call on all Indian people in the Dakotas to wake up and sever their relationship after the churches obvious scheming so similar to Ireland. After my first Sun Dance to our Benevolent Creator back 40 years ago, I knew that the Indian Natural Way was for me, even after graduating from a prestigious Catholic University. I have never looked back and appreciate that I am no longer a part of a controlling organization that cannot respect Creator’s ultimate truths and will not truthfully and rightfully settle with Native victims. We were far better off morally, ethically and spiritually before the Washichu ever came upon us. Simply look at the old time selfless leaders as solid proof. I do hope that we have our own Spirit World in the Beyond. One that is all Truthful as is Creator’s Nature which guides us instead of the Wahshichus black books. Those of you who want to stay with the Wahshichu’s ways, go ahead. Your choice! I hope you never enter our Beyond. This pro Pedophile Amendment is the straw that has broken the camel’s back. How could our own Senator Bradford vote for it? Who influenced him and blotted out his expected Native common sense and honesty?
Wait! Native victims do not give up hope, yet. Despite South Dakota’s usual stance and manipulation against Indian people, (even on the sports field-Re: that recent St. Thomas More referee debacle) - how can a State nullify Crimes committed on a Federal Indian reservation? This looks like a case headed for Federal Court and possibly on up to the Supreme court. It is called Federal Jurisdiction which precedes state jurisdiction. Doesn’t the Governor realize that??
